Tai Chi Qatar was founded by Linda Aarts in 2012, as a resource for people who are searching for Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Kung and Tui Shou classes in Qatar. 


Introducing Linda Aarts 

Linda Aarts is Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung instructor in Doha. She arrived in Qatar, from Amsterdam ( the Netherlands), in February 2011 and started teaching the same month.  

She is available for group lessons and one-to-one lessons.
 
When Linda first tried Tai Chi in 1998, she thought it was magic: the ability to relax whilst standing up, was something she thought would be impossible! She soon learned that there was something in between feeling either ‘tense’ or ‘limp’ - which is referred to as ‘structure’. Tai Chi is not just about learning a pattern of movements in a certain order, it is mostly an 'Internal' Martial Art. Through it, Linda became so much more aware of the energy ('Chi' or 'Qi') in her body and the ways to move it. 

Learning Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung is a most wonderful journey: being both interesting and enjoyable, every step of the way. The keywords are 'relax' and ‘balance’, both physically and mentally. Though the methods to achieve these are endless, the basics are more or less the same. There's so much to learn, ways to grow, and besides, it is healthy and fun!
